Application Support Specialist - Software Technical Support
Description
This role requires a subtle mix of technical, business and communication skills.
Initially you will be trained to provide telephone support for our existing clients. Most of your time will be in the office providing telephone support but you may from time to time provide on-site support.
As you become more competent you will start to work with the sales team and provide technical support in the sales process. You will also start to take full responsibility for designated clients' technical and business needs and provide a single point of contact.
From this position you will have the ability to move into more a technical or project management type role.
You will report to the Technical Support Team Leader.
Requirements
A mix of business and technical skills gained though theoretical and practical experiences.
A solid understanding of application software and database concepts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Six months to One year experience in a similar position would be an asset.
